While working on my December Daily I came across this little guy .
While I used the negative space for my mini album I thought wouldn’t he look cute on a gift bag?
My gift bag~
I used the wood grain paper from DCWV’s Christmas Memories Stack to cut the base image twice allowing me to pop dot the layers.
I then decided to be brave and grabbed the Burlap Paper Stack and my brand new Spellbinders dies to cut a burlap base.
I have to tell you that my Cuttlebug and I are not the best of friends.
Maybe it’s because it has sat on the shelf for so long unused and unloved.
But, it cut perfectly! Yippee!

I added another layer of cream and gold snowflake paper and a few gold sequins just for fun.
And now I know Travis will get at least one buck this year. He he.

Remember the card I made the other day?
Like most cards I seem to make it won’t fit in a standard envelope.
So, I made a Lori Whitlock mailing box and topped it with a tag.
Which is perfect timing since this week’s challenge on the Silhouette Blog is to create a tag.
My box and tag~
My tag is simple, but I love the extra little hole protector that is with it.
I think this is a shape I either got from a Kerri Bradford class or I learned to make in it.
A close up~
I added Bitty Blossoms and a stamped sentiment to the tag and my card was ready to give.
Which is also perfect timing since they had to be in today.

And what’s littler than a Bitty Blossom?
It’s what I used for the Cricut Circle Weekend Challenge: Flower Power.
I wanted a little something to include with a Swap Package, so I thought a tag would be perfect.
To make my Bitty Blossoms I used the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Dies.
A close up~
The best part is the dies come with instructions! Yippee!
Because, my Cuttlebug sure didn’t and it’s one of the reasons it doesn’t get used very often.
However, I have a feeling that will change now that I’ve gotten the hang of it.
And that brings me delight.
Sorry, I couldn’t resist. He he.
