This picture of Hartly at Easter and her 2nd birthday says “Hello Spring!” to me.
The green grass and blooming dogwoods are sure signs of warmer weather, so I decided this would be a great start for the Cricut Circle NSD Use Your Scraps Challenge.
Our Spring themed layout had to be made totally of scraps, have three image cuts and incorporate the Cuttlebug as well. Yikes!
I fell in love with Scrap2010’s Enjoy layout posted over at the Studio Calico Member Gallery. She used her Silhouette to cut a heart filled circle background. So, I decided that I had to make my own!
In CCR I used circles of various sizes from the Cricut Craftroom Basic digital cartridge and filled them with butterflies from Sophie.
I backed some of the butterflies with colorful Bella Blvd scraps and others with vellum. A couple of the vellum circles were run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. Those are my favorite!
A closeup of my title and circles~
I used Gypsy Font to make my “hello” and added it to the Bella Blvd Alpha letters.
