It’s Mail Time!!

A certain little girl and I were quite busy this weekend making Valentine’s Day cards for her upcoming Nursery School party.

We had all sorts of plans for her cards, but they all changed once I showed her several of the Disney Valentines.

We printed and organized them Friday night.

Saturday morning Hartly organized them again and signed each one while I was busy making envelopes using the We R Memory Keeper Envelope Punch Board.

I love that thing.

At least once I read the directions.

After we had all the cards and envelopes ready to go it was quickly decided that she needed something to store them safely in. Sigh.

So we grabbed a DCWV Kraft Mailer Box, The Winter In The Woods Stack and a cute Lettering Delights image and got busy.

Now everything will stay perfectly organized~

Heaven knows we don’t want anyone getting the wrong Valentine after we spent a lot of time deciding just who would get which one.

And I mean a lot of time.

Now that she’s got her very own Valentine Box, maybe I’ll get the one I made last week back.

One Heart Is Simply Not Enough~

To hold all of my love for you.

Awww…isn’t that sweet?

It’s from the Papertrey Ink Happy Hearts stamp set.

And perfect for my card of hearts.

And Valentine’s Day.

Can you tell I had a bit of fun with my Layered Heart Punch and the DCWV Premium Paper Collection 5 Packs?

I love all the specialty papers found in the 5 Packs.

They have everything from vellum to foil to glossy papers and more.

All which are perfect for layering and adding texture, shine and interest to a project.

Now let’s all hope I don’t lose this card before the big day gets here.

I’ve been know to do that once or twice.

It’s A Spooky, Ooky, Haunted House!!

Okay, maybe it’s not so spooky, ooky.

It’s more cute and adorable.

Recently I participated in a House Swap over on the Cricut Circle message board.

Why buy one house for the swap, when you can buy three just in case you need a back up?

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does that.

Anyway, Hartly quickly claimed one of those extra houses and decided that it was time to decorate it.

It seems she liked DCWV’s new Halloween stacks from Joann’s as much as I did since she chose to use the Eek-a-Boo Stack for her house.

I used black corrugate sheets from the Fall & Halloween Corrugate Stack to give the roof a bit of texture and character.

What’s a spooky, ooky haunted house without a ghost hanging about?

And can we talk about DCWV now having sequins? Swoon!

The pack includes black, orange, and gold sequins, but it also has gold stars and spiders. Woo hoo!

The spiders made perfect little touches for my windows.

I kept the decorations rather simple, since I knew this house would be in the hands of a four year old.

Currently Cinderella is living in it with Prince Charming.

I think that means she likes it. He he.

What Is Meant To Be Will Always Find A Way~

Don’t you find that to be true?

I do.

My card~

I thought that sentiment would be perfect to send a friend who is making some changes in her life.

It comes from DCWV’s La Boutique Vintage Stack which is also filled with many of my favorite patterns like newspaper print and maps.

And of course, a heart filled with sprinkles is perfect for any occasion.

Can you tell that I am loving the new Papertrey Ink Shakers & Sprinkles Kit?

It makes it so, so easy to make a shaker card.

Which is perfect for me since I will use any excuse to add sequins to a project!

Sprinkles Make Me Happy & So Do You~

Who doesn’t love sprinkles?

Okay, maybe Ashlyn.

But, that’s just on cupcakes.

Sprinkles are just so fun. And happy. And in this case sparkly.

I used the Papertrey Ink Make It Market Shakers & Sprinkles kit filled with dies, stamps, sequins and just about everything you need to make a shaker card.

Taking a tip from Maria I added some micro beads since they matched the My Mind’s Eye patterned papers perfectly.

Hopefully the birthday girl was sprinkled with lots of love and happiness on her big day.

And for some reason I’m now craving cupcakes. He he.
