This End Down~

After Travis’s THIRD eye surgery within SIX months, Hartly became a professional at showing him the proper position for him to be in.

This priceless picture was perfect for the Noel Mignon Summer Camp First Aid Challenge.

My layout~

This-End-Down

I will admit to being in a bit of a rush to finish this layout as our Summer Camp Teams earned points for each challenge completed and I couldn’t let my team down.

So, I broke out my rather large Washi tape collection and used it make my base.

I then used pop dots to lift my layers.

A close up~

I added my journaling, title and some of the fabulous and funny stamps by Shimelle and was done.

And yes, I know what you’re wondering.

That is a pool lounge chair in my family room.

Sometimes you just got to do what you got to do.

I just hope we never have to do this again. He he.

I used~
Noel Mignon Kit Contents: Sketchbook Thickers, Lilybee Desings Pinwheel and Ice Cream Truck Paper, Studio Calico Here & There Portland Paper, Kraft Paper and lots and lots of Washi
Two Peas in a Bucket Stamps by Shimelle Lane

Bucket Wars~

For the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Water Challenge I knew exactly which pictures I wanted to use.

The kids engaged in Bucket Wars 2013.

My layout~

Bucket-Wars

They had the best time chasing each other around and throwing bucket after bucket of water on each other.

Even Hartly joined in.

Now I won’t tell you who ended up winning this battle, but I will tell you there was only one dry person in the family.

I used~
Fancy Pants By The Shore 6×6 Paper Pad and 4×6 Brag Pad, Fancy Pants Park Bench Park Walk Paper, Lilybee Pinwheel Kite Strings and Flip Flop Paper, Kraft Paper, October Afternoon Travel Girl Border Stickers and Buttons, Maya Road Ribbon Tape, Iguana Thickers, Amy Tangerine and Studio Calico Stamps

This Little Piggy~

Went Wee Wee Wee all the way home.

While this isn’t exactly scary or super spooky, I did make it for the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Spooky Challenge.

My layout~

Wee Wee 1

This is my little piggy trick or treating at her Grandma Sally’s house.

She’s just too cute to be spooky.

Especially with her Wubba hanging from her mouth.

This was the first time I had gotten into the Noel Mignon Something Wicked kit from October 2011!! Yikes!!

Hoarding all of these fabulous supplies….now that’s SCARY!!

I used~
Noel Mignon Something Wicked Kit contents: Fancy Pants October 31 Cards and Jack-o-lantern Paper, October Afternoon Sticky Keys Black & Cream, Mini Market Orange & Crème, Photo Transparency and Authentique Glowing Excerpts Diction
My Mind’s Eye 6×6 Mischievous Paper Pad and Brads and Elm Thickers

Sending Love Your Way~

I love that phrase.

In fact, I think I’ve used it before.

But, it’s exactly the message I hope my card portrays to it’s receiver.

I made it for the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Writing Letters Home Challenge.

Many of you know how I feel about making cards, but if challenged I most certainly make one.

And I’ll have a bit of fun in the process.

My card~

Sending-Love-Your-Way

I finally broke into the Noel Mignon Charm School Kit from February 2012.

Yes, I admit it…I am a hoarder!

In my defense I was saving the kit to make a Valentine’s themed album, but the papers were just to perfect for this project.

The elephant from the Creative Memories Stork’s Delivery cartridge is holding a balloon, but I chose instead to top it with a layered heart embellishment.

I think it adds just that extra little bit of love.

A requirement of the challenge was to actually send your card off.

And guess what….I did!

I used~
Noel Mignon Charm School Kit contents: My Mind’s Eye Love Me Banners, Hearts and Stamped Doilies Paper, Crate Paper Hearts Phrase and Borders, American Crafts Twine

Creative Memories Stork’s Delivery Elephant at 2.5″

Vacation Fun~

As you may know by now I love a banner!

So the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Capture the Flag Challenge was made for me.

I pulled out one of my favorite beach pictures and got to work with all of the Chic Tags I own.

My layout~

Vacation-Fun

I used Rad Lab to help my picture blend with the fabulous Crate Paper The Pier line and then I layered, layered and layered some more.

A close up~

Vacation-Fun-Close-Up

I had so much fun creating this banner almost as much fun as that day at the beach.

I used~
Noel Mignon Kit Contents: Crate Paper The Pier Splash, Merry Go Round and Ferris Wheel Paper, Treasure Thickers, Elle’s Studio Serendipity Pennants, Studio Calico Scraps, Teresa Collins Now & Then Buttons
Chic Tags Vacation Vintage, Everyday Life Weekday, Number & Minitags, Bon Voyage, A Camping We Will Go and Alphabets
Amy Tangerine Date Stamp

Let’s Go Home.~

That phrase is perfect for this picture of Hartly and her Toy Story buddies as we head home from our Summer vacation at the beach.

True Toy Story fans would know that it’s the exact phrase Woody tells Buzz, Jessie and Bullseye after their dramatic rescue off the plane headed to Japan. He he.

And with all the colors in the picture I thought it would be perfect for the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Weaving Challenge.

My layout~

Let's-Go-Home

I trimmed half inch stripes of paper from multiple Noel Mignon kits to create my base layer and frame.

While labor intensive I love the look.

A close up~

Let's-Go-Home-close-up

And just like Woody and all this friends, we made it home safely.

I used~
Several Noel Mignon Kits for the Paper, Amy Tangerine Whittles, Patchwork Thickers
Basic Grey Carte Postale Mixed Brads and Chipboard and October Afternoon Orange & Crème Mini Market Letters

I Heart Flip Flops~

Even when sandy.

And yes, that is REAL sand on my layout. Yikes!

It’s part of the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Nature Hike Challenge to use something you find in nature on your layout.

My layout~

I-heart-Flip-Flops

So, I decided to glue real sand on a 3×4 journal card.

I then sprayed the card with a spray fixative in hopes that it would stay.

Needless to say, there will be a bit of extra vacuuming happening in the Andrews’ house.

But, I think it’s totally worth it.

I used~
Noel Mignon Beach Blvd Kit contents: Crate Paper Party Day Celebrate Paper, Simple Stories I Heart Summer Daydream Paper and Journal Cards, Lilybee Designs Pinwheel Labels, American Crafts Cardstock, Simple Stories I Heart Summer Brads, Chipboard Sticker and Expression Cardstock Stickers, Chic Tags Road Trip Tag, Patchwork Thickers and October Afternoon Orange & Crème Mini Market Letters

Shoot for the Moon~

Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.

I love that saying and it’s perfect for the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Star Gazing Challenge.

My original plan was to make a layout; however, as I gathered all my October Afternoon Rocket Man goodies I became obsessed with the little boy and teddy bear in the rocket ship.

And so, my layout turned into a card.

My card~

Shoot-for-the-Moon

Even though my top layer is a map of the constellations I wanted my stars to shine and draw even more attention.

I thought I had a pack of rhinestone stars, but in my search I came across these metal stud stars which I think work even better.

I love when that happens.

I used~
October Afternoon Rocket Age Deep Space Probe Paper, 6×6 Paper Pad, Miscellany Pack, Chip ‘n Stick and Buttons, AC Twine and Basic Grey Metal Studs

Let’s Go Some Where Fun~

I love this picture!

We took it during our evening walks on the beach while on vacation.

And even with crazy, wild, beach wind hair I love it.

So, it’s the focus of my Noel Mignon Summer Camp S’mores Challenge layout.

My layout~

Let's Go

I think I accomplished the Use as Many Layers as your projects needs mission. He he.

I began by printing my picture on DCWV Adhesive Fabric.

I love how it softens the picture, especially since this was a low resolution photo.

On normal photo paper that might just drive me crazy.

Then I got busy adding the new DCWV textured papers from the Burlap and Corrugate Neutral stacks.

I love the dimension it adds.

A close up~

Let's Go Close

Since I was using so many layers I stuck to the Amy Tangerine Yes, Please and Sketchbook lines to keep everything some what coordinated.

A few clothespins, sequins and tags and my S’more was ready.

Of course, we call them S’moes in our house.

Just like Buzz Lightyear.

Imagine that.

I used~

Burlap Fabric Neurtal Corr

DCWV The Burlap Paper Stack, The Adhesive Fabric Stack and The Corrugate Neutral Stack
Noel Mignon Daffodil Hill Kit Contents: Amy Tangerine Yes, Please Consistent and Hopeful Paper and Whittles
Amy Tangerine Sketchbook Paper Pad, Bits Tags and Bits Wood Veneer Tags, Vellum, Iguana Thickers, Studio Calico Stamp and Sequins and AC Everyday Fabric Stickers

Heart This Everyday Life~

How could you not when get to be a princess?

Contrary to popular belief being a princess is hard work, but luckily I have Hartly to help me.

It seems I have issues staying in the correct spot while we play, and she’s always having to show me where to sit.

My layout~

Heart This

I decided this would be perfect for the Noel Mignon Summer Camp Archery Challenge to use arrows on your project.

Hmmm…maybe I should put those arrows on the floor by her castle.

I used~
