Something Wicked This Way Comes~

Okay, maybe not necessarily this guy.

But, the countdown to Halloween is on in our house.

It’s also on the Cricut Circle Message Board in the Halloween Challenge.

The challenge allows you to choose any Halloween image.

I had so much fun with the Charmed Challenge of Pigs versus Teddy Bears that I just couldn’t help myself when it came time to choose. He he.

I used Cricut’s Teddy Bear Parade cartridge for my body and pumpkin costume and added the always adorable pig head from Charmed.

And while he may not frighten too many people, I do know one teddy bear loving person who he just might give a fright.

So, I’m off to find her address. He he.

This child just makes me giggle.

This is her Eek A Bug! reaction.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a fly, a bee or even her most feared and dreaded insect of all…the ladybug.

Her little hand covers her head.

And with the warmer weather and being outside at baseball games we’ve been seeing this a lot.

Even indoors.

I’ve been saving this sheet of My Mind’s Eye paper from the Noel Mignon Melrose kit not wanting to cut it.

I just adore the color and pattern, so I thought it would be perfect as the base for my oversized picture.

I added a sheet of pink flowers to draw out the colors of the flowers on her shirt and her pink chubby cheeks.

Apparently running from bugs is a hot job.

If anyone has a tip to get a rather large wasp-like bug or two or three out of the house, I would greatly appreciate it.

And so would Hartly.

All Girls Need A Bow~

For their date with Mickey Mouse.

I love this picture of Ashlyn.

We first took the twins to Disney World right after they turned four.

All this child could talk about for days leading up to the trip was getting a pair of Mickey Mouse ears.

As soon as we hit the park she had picked out her pair complete with a Minnie Mouse bow.

And yes, she also picked out a Minnie Mouse that was as big as she was.

I’m taking another class! I know you’re shocked. Right?

This time I’m taking Mix It Up With Amy Tan over at Two Peas In A Bucket.

So, my layout follows her Mix Formula to use one piece of cardstock, Washi tape and sticky embellishments.

I started with the MME Washi red and black tape set.

I liked the way it looked in the container, so I decided to apply it on my cardstock as my photo mat exactly the way it came out of the tube.

I added my sticky embellishments of Thickers, enamel dots, chipboard and badge.

Now if only I had a picture of us carrying Mickey and Minnie through airport security.

That was a sight to see.
