My Little Piggy~

Would you believe this little one is 4 months old today?

I can’t.

My layouts~

My friend, Maria, made the most adorable piggy hat for the baby, so I made sure it was packed in my bag for the hospital.

And it made the cutest pictures.

I have a feeling you just might be seeing more piggy pictures in the future.

Meet Whitley~

Hello Whitley Mills Andrews!!

Meet-Whitley

This sweet little girl entered our lives on March 16, 2016.

And we couldn’t be happier.

A close-up~

I used lots and lots of Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Open Book collection to create my layout.

The colors went perfectly with my photo.

With all the layers I was even able to easily tuck her hospital name tag with all her birth information on it for safe keeping.

I used~

Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Open Book Collection, Kraft Paper, Heidi Swapp Sequins and Wisecrack Thickers

Collect Beautiful Moments~

Well, hello there.

Remember me?

Life in the Andrews’ house got busy this Spring

Extremely busy.

All because of the arrival of this little one.

My layout~

Collect

This just makes my heart melt.

And yes, we’ve been busy collecting beautiful moments.

Hopefully I’ll get better at sharing them with you.

Will You Be My Valentine?

I decided to branch out and signed up for a Valentine’s Day Pocket Letter Swap in the Pocket Letter Swaps & Memory Planners Facebook Group.

Okay…I clicked the possibly interested button and the next thing I know I was signed and partnered up. He he.

I have plenty of Valentine’s Day supplies, so this should be fun. Right?

My pocket letter~

Valentine's-Pocket-Letter

I used Crate Paper’s Fourteen collection for my base, paper layers and chipboard pieces.

Last year I purchased Valentine’s Day treat bags and I thought they would be perfect to use here.

In fact, I used them to make flair buttons.

A few close-ups~

Valentine's-Pocket-Letter-C

I used several to add dimension to my Valentine graphics and extras are tucked in as a treat for the receiver.

Valentine's-Close-Up-2

I might have even filled the back pockets with chocolate.

Unfortunately my partner didn’t want to be my Valentine, since she never responded to any of my messages…so, I guess I’ll be asking someone else.

Sigh.

Hello & Dream Big~

As the snow continued to fall all day yesterday I got to work on Snowpocalypse 2016 Challenge #2: Be My Little Baby.

The challenge was to create any type of project with a baby theme.

And it was in honor of Baby Andrews #4.

No….she doesn’t have a name yet other than Four!!

Do you know how hard it is to get five people to agree one little name? Yikes!

My layout~

Hello-&-Dream-Big

The ever so wonderful Jenny Kozar sent me the adorable Wonder collection from Crate Paper and I’ve been dying to play with it.

So, this was the perfect time.

I used the vellum paper to create an envelope to hold several of the ultrasound pictures of Four.

They are easily accessible and simply held into place with a paperclip I topped with a piece from the ephemera pack.

A few close-ups~

Hello-Close-Up-1

I adore the text paper found in the collection as many of the qualities listed are ones I pray this baby has.

Hello-Close-Up-2

I used the typewriter Travis got me for Christmas to add text to the journal card.

Of course, I had to add a four to the layout. He he.

Hopefully, soon this baby will have a real name.

I used~

Crate Paper Wonder Collection, Kraft Paper, We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, Teresa Collins Gold Paper Clips

Hello Graduate!!

I can hardly believe that our good friend’s daughter has graduated from High School.

Where has the time gone?

I can still remember the day she was born.

Aww…I’m getting all teary eyed just thinking about it.

My card~

Graduate

I used a Wryn Graduate digital stamp from Tiddly Inks that I colored to match Morgan’s actual gown and sash.

Luckily I had just watched a Sandy Allnock video on coloring white images.

A close-up~

Graduate-C

Not too bad I think.

Except for where I thought her hair was the stash and colored it blue.

Sigh.

Anyway blue hair or not I know that this graduate is going great places.

Just to note that it’s Day 20 of the 30 Day Color Challenge.

30 Day Color Challenge 2

Amazingly enough I’m keeping up.

Yippee!

It’s Snack Time~

Are you ready to RUMBLE?!?!

Or maybe crumble is the better word for the Cricut Circle 2015 NSD WWW Snackdown Challenge hosted by Jenny Dennis.

Her challenge is to create any type of project about…..FOOD!

I love it, especially since our family even plans vacations around where and when we are going to eat.

My layout~

Snack

I chose an adorable picture of Hartly during her snack time at the beach.

This was way back when she was so scared of the water she wouldn’t get anywhere near it.

A close-up~

Snack Close

I used Crate Paper’s The Pier collection and simply had fun layering the various prints and embellishments.

I also added some Teresa Collins Wood Dots for a bit of dimension.

This picture makes me giggle, because now we can’t keep this girl out of the water.

Seriously, this child went swimming in the ocean THIS past weekend when the water temp was below 70.

Brrr!

I used~

Crate Paper The Pier Collection, Open Road Journal Cards, October Afternoon Mini Market Kraft & Black Alphas, Teresa Collins Hello My Name Is Wood Dots and Jewelry Box Thickers

Hello Love~

I love this picture of Hartly and her Nursery School Class!!

As in love, love, love it.

I only needed a reason to use it and Jenny’s NSD 2015 Challenge: Let’s Get Sketchy was the perfect one.

My layout~

Hello Love

To mimic the picture I used only black and white patterned papers for my background.

A close-up~

Hello Love Close

My photo mats and embellishments were my pops of color much like the balloons.

I love the diagonal feature of this sketch, but I would be too embarrassed to tell you just how long it took me to achieve it.

In case you couldn’t spot Miss Hartly, she’d want me to tell you that she’s holding a purple balloon.

And if that wasn’t enough to pick her out, she’d make sure you knew that she is the tallest in her class.

Apparently that’s a very big deal to her.

Oh, to be five years old again.

There is still time to join in most of the Cricut Circle NSD 2015 challenges, so make sure you head to Jenny’s blog and see the original sketch and her take on it.

I used~

Crate Paper Notes & Things Signed Paper, 6×6 Paper Pad, Ephemera Pack, Tags, Maggie Holmes Flea Market Paper and Embellishments, Kal Barteski Thickers, Papertrey Ink Sequins and My Mind’s Eye Washi Tape

Captured~

If you saw my December Daily 2014: December 23rd page, you probably already know about my ordeal of trying to reenact the I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus scene.

If you didn’t, let me just say it didn’t go quite like I had envisioned. Sigh.

But, it did create a wonderful memory filled with lots of laughter and lots of kisses.

And lots and lots of what I would consider outtakes much like the one I used here.

My layout~

Captured

I already had my Maggie Holmes Open Book Collection out, so I picked a sketch from Pinterest to create my layout.

I thought the creams, greens and golds of the collection would be perfect for my picture filled with the bright lights of our Christmas tree.

I have to tell you that I still giggle when I look at this picture.

Wonder what I can come up with for next year to top this?

Love This Moment~

Oh the joys of sending the kids back to school!

I will cherish the happy feeling I get now, because I know soon enough that happiness will turn to anxiousness and possibly even dread.

There is a first year of Kindergarten coming very soon and two Senior years not that far off. Eek!

But, for now I look forward to the routine school brings and the chance for a certain little girl to use some of that endless energy she has.

Especially after this extended Christmas break. Oh my.

Back to school~

Love This Moment

A few ladies and I are participating in a Stashing Thru The Snow Challenge on the Cricut Circle Message Board.

What does this mean?

That we intend to USE all those scrapbooking tools, supplies and had to have items that we’ve collected.

Notice I said collected and not used.

The challenge this week is Dig It Out, Dust It Off, Put It To Use!

I grabbed this box that was sitting on the floor still full of the gorgeous Maggie Holmes Open Book Collection by Crate Paper.

Love This Moment Open Book in box

The instant I saw this collection I knew I had to have it, yet there it still sat collecting dust.

On the floor. Sigh.

Please tell me I’m not the only person who does that!

And would you believe that the last 12×12 layout I made was way back in the middle of November?

So, it’s no wonder I sat at my desk for a bit wondering if I remembered how to make one.

Love This Moment In Progress

However, I preserved with the help of a sketch, a great picture and some pretty supplies.

A few close-ups~

Now my big question is do I keep on with this collection or move on to the next box sitting on the floor? He he.
