This Little Piggy Went To Mania~

Just to meet you.

This past weekend I headed to Alpharetta, GA to attend Cricut Circle Mania III.

It was a weekend of scrapbooking, shopping and time spent with friends.

Part of the excitement is exchanging Calling Cards with the other ladies.

And if you remember the Pig versus Teddy Bear Debate of 2013 you know how my calling card came to be.

My calling cards~

Yes, about 60 little pigs made the trip with me to Mania.

And no, I don’t like making that many of anything.

In fact, I had a bit of help assembling my cards.

Can you tell?

Hartly helped me with a few. He he.

If you’d like to see more of the calling cards given and collected, Danita has many of them posted on her blog.

And remember how I said my pigs weren’t unexpected?

A gift from Anne Henderson~

Isn’t this piggy charger plate adorable?

I love it!

Thanks Anne!

Now this little piggy needs to unpack.

I used~
Cricut Charmed for the Pig
Cricut Craft Room Basics for the Circle
Various October Afternoon papers

Something Wicked This Way Comes~

Okay, maybe not necessarily this guy.

But, the countdown to Halloween is on in our house.

It’s also on the Cricut Circle Message Board in the Halloween Challenge.

The challenge allows you to choose any Halloween image.

My card~

I had so much fun with the Charmed Challenge of Pigs versus Teddy Bears that I just couldn’t help myself when it came time to choose. He he.

I used Cricut’s Teddy Bear Parade cartridge for my body and pumpkin costume and added the always adorable pig head from Charmed.

And while he may not frighten too many people, I do know one teddy bear loving person who he just might give a fright.

So, I’m off to find her address. He he.

I used~
My Mind’s Eye Ooh La La Paper, Haunted Paper, Wicked Brads and Stickers, American Crafts Ribbon and Tim Holtz Happy Halloween Stamps
Teddy Bear Parade for the bear cut at 3.5″
Charmed for pig cut to size

Rockn The Pigtails~

I warned you about the Pigs, so this layout shouldn’t be too much of a surprise.

Is there anything more adorable than a little girl with pigtails?

I think not.

My layout~

I used the October Afternoon Farm Girl Collection and went a little pig crazy.

With this collection it was not hard to do.

I even created my own pig patterned paper by using the pig stamps on kraft paper.

And of course, I had to include my favorite image from the new Cricut Circle Charmed cartridge.

A close up of my pig~

A little tip~ the charm image does not cut the snout area even though it’s pictured in the booklet.

However, I simply used the separate snout image and layered it to complete my pig.

Easy solution.

And to give him a little more dimension and character I used decorative brads for his nostrils.

Now he’s almost as cute as the little girl pictured rock’n the pigtails and sunglasses.

We all know she has plenty of character!

I used~
October Afternoon Farm Girl Rose Trelis, Milk Pail, Almanac, Patchwork and Barnyard Paper, Designer Brads, Tidbits and Farmyard Friends Stamps, Hoeny Sticky Keys and Blue & Cream Mini Market Letters
Kraft Paper, Shoebox Thickers, Twine and Dear Lizzy Date Stamp

Sent To You With Hogs & Kisses~

Would you look at that Pig?

Isn’t he the cutest thing?

I do believe he’s the cutest image on the new Cricut Circle Charmed cartridge.

In fact, there is currently a heated debate over on the Cricut Circle Message Board over which is cuter… the pig or the some what, but most certainly less cute teddy bear.

I don’t know WHO started it, but I do know there is even a Charmed Challenge to create what ever image you like best.

My card~

Isn’t he adorable?

I know I went a little pattern crazy, but sometimes you just need too. Right?

And I might have gone a bit Pop Dot crazy too.

Lots of layers there~

I’m also using this for the Cricut Circle Weekend Challenge of It’s A Party!, since it’s a birthday card for a special little girl I know.

And maybe I do know who started all the ruckus over on the Message Board, but I’ll never squeal!

Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

And this is your warning that there just might be a few more Pig projects coming.

If you’re a Cricut Circle Member I hope you’ll join in both the Charmed Challenge and the Cricut Circle Weekend Challenge.

I used~
Echo Park Happy Days 6×6 and My Mind’s Eye Ooh La La Paper Pads, Funny Farms Stamps, Seam Binding and American Crafts Twine
