You’re A Real Princess~

Have you been coloring during October?

challenge_graphic-650-october2

I’m joining in when I can, but it’s not as much as I would like.

I’ve even spent some evenings coloring, but I haven’t found the time to post my pictures.

There’s just not enough time in the day.

And it’s hard to get a good picture after dark. Sigh.

But, here’s one of my evening’s work~

Princess

Even on a completed card!!

How about that?

The little princesses from The Greeting Farm Ever After set are so cute and fun to color.

And perfect for a real princess’s birthday.

Such Spooky Fun~

Making Pocket Letters!!

Really, they’re quite addictive.

This time around our little group made Halloween and Fall themed Pocket Letters to swap with a partner.

My Halloween Pocket Letter~

Halloween 2

I used mainly the My Mind’s Eye Mischievous Collection with a few added elements from a past Noel Mignon kit.

My favorite being that cute Boo! ghost tag from We R Memory Keepers.

I even tried something new and attached the Happy Halloween tag using an Action Wobble.

The back~

Halloween Back

In an effort to keep all the goodies I’m sending in place, I made gift card sized envelopes to stuff and slide in the pockets.

I have to admit that when it came to the Fall Pocket Letter I was a bit stumped at first.

Especially since I traded Fall Postcards last year to the exact same partner.

So, I went old school and pulled out Bella Blvd’s Finally Fall Collection.

Happy Fall Y’all~

Fall PL

Simple yet adorable, I think.

And making me long for cool, crisp Fall days.

School’s Out~

So, let’s play!

Lately I have been playing along with several of the Some Odd Girl Community Crop Challenges.

30 Day Some Odd Girl

My project is a bit of a stretch for the Summer Fun Challenge: To show some summer love by doing a summer theme, using a summer stamp or using summer colors!

However I figure school is out, summer vacation is starting and it’s time to play.

My card~

And that is exactly what my little kitty is doing.

Hey Hot Dog~

Happy birthday!

This week I decided to join in the Some Odd Girl Facebook Community Crop.

30 Day Some Odd Girl

Now I only own 3 Some Odd Girl stamp sets.

For now.

But, I adore them.

Luckily, one of the first challenges was a Critter Challenge: Use a Some Odd Girl Critter on any type of project.

Have I mentioned all 3 stamp sets are of critters?

My card~

Hot-Dog-wm

I used the hot dog from the Preppy Pups Stamp Set to make a birthday card for my nephew.

I paired my pup with the Basic Grey Hipster collection.

A perfect match, right?

And I have decided to join in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker.com.

Love, Embrace And Celebrate~

It’s seems like just yesterday I received this~

Design Team Announcement

To say that I was excited is an understatement.

One of my first Stack-a-Holic Challenge layouts as a Design Team Member was this one of the kids celebrating Ashlyn and Holden’s 13th birthday~

Happy Birthday layout

Look at how small they all are.

As this is my last official post as a DCWV Design Team Member I think it’s appropriate to end with this layout of Hartly from last week.

My layout~

Love Embrace Cherish

Can you believe it?

That little girl with the Wubba hanging from her mouth is now a Nursery School graduate and soon to be a Kindergartener.

And those two teens are now driving and looking at colleges.

Time has simply flown by.

A few close-ups~

I used one of my all time favorite DCWV La Boutique Vintage Stack to create my layout.

I just love the colors, prints and all around feel of this stack.

If you look close enough in the upper left hand corner you will see the name Hartley is even on the patterned paper.

How perfect is that?

Thank you to DCWV for allowing me to create with your fabulous products.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to work with and get to know such talented ladies over the past three years.

This experience is something I will love, embrace and celebrate always.

I used~

DCWV La Boutique Vintage Stack
Kraft Paper, ArtC Book Pages, Ali Edwards Get Real Stamp Set, Kaisercraft Sea Breeze Sparklets , EK Success Layered Heart Punch, Crate Paper Ephemera Pack

Think Pretty Thoughts~

And what’s prettier than unicorns?

I used this card by Jennifer McGuire for my NSD 2015 Challenge: Pin It! to recreate something you’ve pinned on Pinterest.

My card~

Think Pretty

Like Jennifer’s card I water colored the background and used stitched dies to create my blue sky.

Then I colored my unicorns and used pop dots, so they’re flying through the sky.

A close-up~

Think Pretty Close

After all of that I ended up stamping the sentiment crooked. Oh well.

It’s still cute.

Maybe not as cute Hartly’s version.

A Little Bear Love~

We have TWO big birthdays coming up in our house this week.

So, it was the perfect time to get the new DIY Project Stacks from DCWV.

To see all of them check out the new product reveal videos.

Luckily I got the DIY Project Stack Favor Boxes, since I just happen to need two boxes to hold the perfect gift for two sixteen year olds….cash.

Did you think I was going to say car keys? Ha.

All of the DIY Project Stacks are filled with fabulous patterns, vibrant colors and even templates for various projects.

Since I have the cutting abilities of a four-year old, I used my Brother Scan & Cut to scan the Take Out Box Template.

Scan 1

I cut it out of several of the papers from the stack.

Scan 2

Then it was a simple matter of scoring, gluing and decorating them.

My boxes~

Can you tell I just got a new stamp set from Mama Elephant?

And I’m crazy about the bears in the Bear Hugs set.

So I also made a coordinating card using the patterned papers from the DIY Project Stack Flowers.

My card~

The bright colors and fun patterns made it so easy to stamp and cut my images and quickly assemble my card.

I think that star patterned paper is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

All together~

Okay, I think all of these stacks are quickly becoming my favorites.

You’re Pretty Much My Favorite Of All Time In The History Of Ever.~

Yep, that’s pretty much how I feel about this little girl.

All my children actually.

But, this is the littlest’s Hello 2015 album.

And this is the picture she chose for its start~

Smile Page One

Oh my.

However the next picture which I chose is just cuteness overload.

My little panda~

Page Two

I continued the panda theme by using Mama Elephant Pandamonium stamps to create a panda and sequin filled pocket to compliment my other card filled pockets and flair badge.

The pages together~

Page Two &Three

The DCWV Insta Photo Fun Pocket Pages, Die Cut Cardstock Cards and Mini Stacks make completing these pages so quick, easy and fun.

It’s a perfect way to let my four-year old help with creating her own album.

Now if she’d just return with my tape runner. Sigh.

I used~

Mama Elephant Pandamonium Stamps cut with the Brother Scan & Cut, My Mind’s Eye Cupid’s Arrow Enamel Shapes, Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow Sequins, Papertrey Ink Chunky Glitter, EK Layered Heart Punch

i love you {thisssss} much!

Yes, I do.

Aren’t these pandas adorable?

My card~

Panda-Love

I used Mama Elephant’s Pandamonium stamp set along with their Creative Cuts dies to create my card.

A close-up~

Panda-Love-Close

While I bought the matching dies for the panda stamps I actually used my Brother Scan & Cut to cut my panda bears.

I love how quick and easy it is to cut multiple images out at one time.

Especially when a certain little girl keeps running off with my pandas.

I guess she loves the {thissssss} much too.

I used~

Glitz Uncharted Waters 6×6 Paper Pad, Mama Elephant Pandamonium Stamp Set and Creative Cut Dies, Brother Scan & Cut, EK Layered Heart Punch, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and Copics

It’s A Good Day To Be Happy~

Especially if it’s your birthday.

Lately I’ve been playing around with my Copics and trying to learn to color.

Which has led me to several new to me stamp companies like Mama Elephant where I might have picked up a few new stamp sets.

And dies.

And inks.

Including this little guy I used on my niece’s birthday card~

Good-Day

I stamped, then colored the image and finally used my Brother Scan & Cut to do my fussy cutting.

A close-up~

Good-Day-Close

I wanted my little guy to be flying high, so I added star sequins that matched my Glitz paper perfectly.

The inside~

So, let me know if you have any stamp suggestions.

It’s always a good day to do some shopping. He he.

I used~
