All Smiles…Kind Of!~

Hartly loved the idea of meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Right up until it was her turn. He he.

Then it was a mild panic that there were two oversized mice near her. Ha!

My layout~

Hello-Mice

This was created for Super Stashbusters Challenge 5 Stamp It!: Use a fun stamping technique on your page.

I chose to use a set of Exclamation stamps to mimic Hartly’s reaction to Mickey and Minnie.

She started at a friendly hello, but quickly went to an OMG!

And by the time we waved goodbye, we had one epic story.

H Is For Happy~

Guess what makes me happy?

Finishing the first day of our 2011 Disney World Vacation. Woo hoo!

Just don’t ask how many more I have to go.

As you know I’m taking Aly Dosdal’s Super Stashbusters Class over at Big Picture Classes.

Challenge 4 is Color Me Happy: Create a layout with a color scheme that makes you happy!, so I did.

Best Day Ever~

Best-Day-Ever

Once again I used DCWV’s My Sunshine Stack.

I love, love, love the colors in this stack and how perfect they are for my Disney pictures.

I especially love the stripes particularly the blue ones.

I guess you could say they make me happy.

With Challenge 4 Aly provided a sketch that I liked so much I created a second layout.

H is for happy~

Mouse-&-Co

Have I mentioned how much I like polka dots?

They also make me happy just like these pictures of Ashlyn, Holden, Mickey and Minnie.

I finally dusted off and broke into my Simple Stories Say Cheese collection, since it goes so well with the colors in the My Sunshine Stack.

I think my teacher would be proud.

Best Seat Around~

For any parade is Daddy’s shoulders.

Especially when your Daddy is as tall as Travis is.

It’s just best for Daddy when you don’t cover his eyes. He he.

My layout~

Best-Seat-Around

This layout is for Super Stashbuster Challenge Three Repeat That Please?: Use a repeated pattern, design or element on your page.

I chose to use the leftover Mickey Heads from my previous Snack Time layout to create a repeating background for this one.

How’s that for stretching my stash?

To create a bit of dimension to my background pattern I added miniature Mickey heads and enamel dots to each large Mickey.

It wasn’t until I was writing this post that I noticed I forgot the mini Mickey and enamel dot on the bottom left hand corner.

Don’t worry, I have gone back and added it.

Shew! That was close. He he.

Snack Time~

While Stitch got only a bit of a smile out of Hartly, she thoroughly enjoyed her Mickey Mouse pretzel.

Who wouldn’t?

It’s shaped like the big guy himself.

My layout~

Can you tell this layout was made for my Super Stashbusters class?

It’s for Challenge 2 On The Grid: Create a grid design to house your photos, papers and embellishments.

I used the Cricut Explore and Mickey & Friends images to create the Mickey Mouse grid design.

Then I simply backed some with coordinating prints from DCWV’s My Sunshine Stack and others with various embellishment clusters.

My embellishments~

I tried to tie everything together around my title by using a kraft Mickey cut, brad and sequins.

My title~

photo 2

Considering I used 17 brads, 10 buttons and too many sequins for me to count, I think I call this a successful stashbuster. He he.

I used~

Smile Big & Take My Picture~

I don’t know about you, but I might have a few scrapbooking supplies tucked away here and there.

Okay, I have A LOT!

So when my cousin suggested we sign up for Aly Dosdall’s Super Stashbuster Class over at Big Picture Class, I was all in.

I followed Aly’s Sketch One for Challenge One Oddly Enough: Use three different sets of odd embellishments on your page.

My layout~

Smile-Big

The sketch called for several smaller photos, so I thought this would be the perfect time to use my Instax pictures.

Then I simply layered and grouped my various embellishments including brads, wood buttons, enamel dots and journaling tags.

And now I have a big dent in my stash.

Okay, maybe a small scratch would be more accurate.

He he.
