Project Life 2013 ~January 5th – 12th

I know it’s only week two, but I’m loving working on this.

It helps that I’ve been taking Jessica Sprague’s Digital Project Life class.

You can find her class at http://www.jessicasprague.com.

Not only does Jessica take you step by step through each lesson, but she teaches you the ins and outs of Photoshop and provides you with lots of digital products.

Love that!

January 5th through January 8th~

My first page is mainly done using physical products, but I used Photoshop to add several digital elements to the photos.

My second page began as a full digital page.

I was able to practice the lessons learned in class and am very happy with how it looks.

And of course, I just had to see what it would look like if I printed it.

Using white cardstock I was able to print it and then add a few other embellishments.

Not to bad if you ask me.

I can’t say I prefer one method over the other or that one is quicker either, so I think I will be using both through out the year.

But, I will be purchasing some photo or presentation paper to print on in the future.

I used~
Becky Higgins Turquoise Core Kit Digital Edition, Clementine Core Kit
Studio Calico Wood Veneer Letters, Hearts and Arrows, Washi Tape, Studio Calico Open Me Stamp, Office Roller Date Stamp, Dear Lizzy Date Stamp

I’ve probably missed a supply or two, so if you have a question just ask.

Project Life ~Jan 1st – Jan 4th

This year I’m taking a little different approach to Project Life.

I’m not sticking to a strict Sunday through Saturday week, but I’m thinking I’m going to hit the highlights of the week and work on it as I feel like it.

So, last night I worked on this week by mixing a little Photoshop elements and old school journaling and stamping.

My week~

PL-Jan-1-4

And yes, I know there are spelling and gramatical errors that I swear were not there last night.

But I can’t spell, so it’s a true reflection of who I am.

So, I’m not going to stress about it or even fix it.

I think!

Out With The Old~

In with the new.

Happy New Year everyone!

I am going to attempt Project Life again this year.

Last year I made it through the month of May before I became overwhelmed and stopped.

But, I still love looking at the pages I did complete last year.

So, I’m going to give it a try again this year.

My Project Life Title Card~

Out-With-the-Old

How adorable is that little guy?

Baby New Year is found on the Cricut Craft Room Exclusive Seasonal Characters digital cartridge.

I used my Gypsy to size him at 3″ which is perfect to use on the 4×6 title card found in the Project Life Clementine Edition Core Kit.

I added two Studio Calico 2013 New Year Stamps and now he’s ready to kick off my 2013 Project Life.
