So, the 30 Day Coloring Challenge is over.
For now.
But, I loved every minute of it.
Especially since I learned a few things.
Like different methods for masking your stamped images, so you can add more stamps to your card or color backgrounds like I did here.
My card~
I stamped my little girl image, masked her with a simple additional cut out of her and stamped my sentiment.
After I colored her, I re-masked her and used my inks and sponge to color the background sky.
A close-up~
In the future I’ll be brave enough to create a mask of my sentiment or perhaps get a tad bit closer to my little girl, but for now I’m good.
Remember I have the cutting skills of a five year old.
He he.
I used~
Mama Elephant Shooting Star and Sunday Sentiment Stamps, Copics, My Favorite Things Grape Jelly Ink, Distress Ink Broken China, Black Enamel Accents
Hi, Sara! Love your card. Your little girl is cute but that background is gorgeous! What inks did you use?
Thanks!!
I used My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink in Grape Jelly and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Broken China. I used the round sponge to blend them. 🙂
