I think I’ve mentioned once or twice that Hartly and I are now watching coloring videos at nap and bedtime.
Last week we just so happened to watch Jennifer McGuire’s Copic Dot Coloring video, so it was no surprise that later that evening we had to give it a try.
My card~
I really like this technique of adding texture and blending colors, but I do think I need to work on my feathering out colors.
But, that will come with practice and in time.
Mimicking Jennifer’s cards, I used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Dies to create a stitched outline on my layers.
This also means I can use my card for Maria’s NSD 2015 Challenge: Leave You In Stitches Challenge to make a project having either real or faux stitching on it.
A close-up~
Would you believe me if I told you Hartly made me order all those My Favorite Things stamps Jennifer used on her card?
She insisted. He he.
Our cards together~

Loving your cards and coloring, Sara. Little Miss Hartly is quite the artist too!
I am totally loving Miss Hartly’s red, white and blue kitty! Your kitty isn’t too shabby either. 🙂
