It’s two days filled with gorgeous projects using GOLD and CORK!
You probably came here from Jaclyn’s blog , but if you happened to just stumble across my blog make sure you go to the DCWV Blog to start at the beginning! Or better yet head to the Tombow Blog and catch all the projects from Friday.
I wouldn’t want you to miss a thing.
Guess what you get when you combine DCWV Insta Fun products, Tombow Adhesives and two snap happy girls armed with a new Instax camera?
Insta fun~
It came as a bit of a surprise when Ashlyn asked an Instax camera for her birthday this year.
Little did I know that she and Hartly had secretly been using mine, so I gladly got her an adorable pink one to call her own.
After opening it those two had the best time taking picture after picture.
In fact I think they went through most of my supply of film.
So, I decided they needed an Insta Fun album to put all their pictures in.
A few close-ups~
After cutting the various layers of my insta camera out of papers from the DCWV Gilded Stack I used the Tombow Foam Tape to give it lots of dimension.
I love the thickness of this foam tape.
I’ve been know to double up on other brands to get the lift I like, but it wasn’t necessary with this tape.
To keep my insta camera in place I used the Tombow Adhesive Dots that come in bright colors to adhere it to my cover.
Please tell me you’re just as excited as I am about that.
I can’t tell you how many glue dots I’ve lost or thrown away by accident thinking they were trash simply because they’re clear.
I’ve managed to get several of the pictures added to the album.
The pages~
I tried heat embossing a stamped image on to the DCWV Cork paper and I think it looks fabulous.
Just keep in mind to be gentle when applying heat to the cork.
As you can see their pictures are quite random, but I love that they’re out there taking them of things that interest them.
There will be more pages added to the album once I talk the littlest into it.
Currently she has them all displayed around the house. Oh my.
And now let’s talk about some PRIZES!!

Fabulous – love the gold and cork! You do such an amazing job of “sharing” the story in your pages and the little album is so awesome!
I Love this Album, the gold paper is so pretty, and the added charms and gold hearts make it, well
charming 😉 I also love the stamping on the cork you did a great jog on that.

Tooo sweet! Love all the details… the layered heart, charms, kitty stamp…I’m sure the girls are having a ball with it!
What a cute idea. I love how you got the kiddos their own camera. I might have to think of that. Thank you for sharing your great album!
You lucky girl, getting to play with TOMBOW and DCWV! I love the way you embellished everything and the design…nice work!
What a fabulous project! Embossing the cork is a great idea! I’d say your daughter has a great photographer’s eye! Very cute album.
love this album, love the three stacked hearts too on the cover !!
LOVE your album! The cover is awesome! LOVE all the depth you added to it! I agree about the Tombow colored dots! They are amazing and have saved me so much money because I have also thrown other dots away thinking they had already been used because I couldn’t see them!
Would love to be one of the lucky winners so I can get my hands on all of these yummy goodies! TFS!
I always love your projects Sara and this one is no exception. Heat embossing on cork is not something I would have ever considered. I may have to try that! And I promise I’ll be gentle.
Love all the sparkly here! Can’t wait to see what other pictures your girls find interesting. 🙂
Awesome project, That camera looks cool on the front.
Your album cover is so pretty!
Aw, what a sweet project! Kids are the best! I’m super excited about the colored dots too! Sometimes I’m half blind and forgot I stuck a dot to something and then that will stick to something else! I am so loving this paper, too!
Cute, cute, cute!
The more projects I see with this little album the more I am impressed! I love the dimension you added to your camera on the front! And yes…I too have thrown away glue dots (probably hundreds) because I couldn’t see them! Thanks Tombow for that really neat trick!
Beautiful work! The camera was cleaver.
