So, step right in.
Once again the ladies over on the Cricut Circle Message Board have challenged and inspired me to get out of my comfort zone.
This time with a house, mini album and chunky charm swap.
Yes, I said a house swap!
And yes, I was extremely intimidated by it with its windows and peaked roof.
But, with a bit of trial and error this is what I made for my partner, Colleen~
If you know anything about Colleen, it’s that she is head over heels in love with her new niece Kaylee.
So I thought a children’s inspired house and mini would be perfect for her.
I think she might have a picture or two of little Miss Kaylee lying around. He he.
Also perfect for my project was October Afternoon’s new Public Library Collection.
There was no way I was attempting to hand cut the paper for the windows already in the paper mache house, so I used Papertrey Ink window stamps and the Brother Scan & Cut to cut them for me. Easy peasy.
Then I simply had fun layering all the stickers, chipboard pieces, buttons and brads in the collection.
My Mini Album~
Once again I simply layered the various pieces from the collection with other embellishments hoping to leave enough room for her pictures.
My chunky charm~
Anytime you find a dancing bear on a ball you just have to add it to a children’s book themed project. Right?
Or at least that’s what I told myself. He he.

She even shows you exactly what supplies you need.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my little book fair.
I think I’ll go enjoy a good book. He he.
