All this week, designers from these three great companies are sharing projects they created by teaming up some fun paper from DCWV’s Honey Chic stack, with a variety of adhesives from Tombow and some beautiful ribbon from May Arts.
If you have come here from Paper Projects by Angela then you’re on track! If not, you can go back to any of the company websites and start the hop from there!
What do you do when you’re given a DCWV stack, a mixed bag of May Arts ribbon and a whole bunch of Tombow adhesive?
If you’re me, you start by picking out your favorite colors, patterns and textures.
And I knew I had to use that bright pink ribbon. Swoon.
My layout~
I wanted the pink ribbon to have a big impact on my layout, so I paired it with black, white and grey prints from the Honey Chic Stack.
A few close-ups~
Using the Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive I was able to easily add black ribbon to edge my paper layer.
I love how it makes that layer pop off the page.
To give my layout a bit of dimension I used the Tombow Power Tabs to lift my picture and it’s various layer up.
I also added some sparkle using various gems and the Extreme Adhesive, so those babies aren’t going anywhere.
Want to know what my absolute favorite part of this layout is?
That hubby and I actually had a date night!!
Couldn’t we all use a few more of those?
