Over on the Cricut Circle Message Board there’s a challenge! Yippee!!
Seems JoJoy had the idea to dig out our Cricut Magazines and actually make some of those projects we love and have been meaning to recreate.
So, I grabbed the May 2012 Cricut Magazine and chose Alpha Bolyer’s Little Swimmer layout to use as my inspiration.
My layout~
As you can see I twisted and turned a few things.
A few close-ups~
But, I kept this little guy.
Isn’t he cute?
And he’s perfect for my picture of Ashlyn, Holden and their cousin Ryan surfing the waves at the beach in 2009.
Now I’m thinking I need to go back and check out all the other projects I have bookmarked.
Thanks JoJoy!!
I used~
Crate Paper The Pier Paper Stack, 6×6 Paper Pad, Chipboard, Ephemera
BasicGrey Acetate Alphas, OA Peacock Blue Sticky Keys, Boardwalk Thickers, Enamel Dots, Maggie Holmes Phrase Stamps, Becky Higgins Date Stamp and Kraft Paper
Kelly Purkey iPhone/Geotag Die using the TC ebosser
Cricut Pack Your Bags for the Scuba Boy cut at 4″ using the Cricut Explore
Nice layout Sara! I love that Crate Paper stack. I’ve been trying to hunt pictures to go with it .
Love your take on this great challenge idea. Such a cute layout!

Truly adorable! You did a fantastic layout based on the magazine. Love it!
What a great layout! I like your version better than the magazine.
