Circleville NSD Challenge~ Lift It Up
The challenge is to take those stamped images and lift them up off the page.
Sounds easy, right?
Not for me!!
I haven’t learned to color with Copics yet and I am quite certain that I have the cutting skills of a preschooler.
But, I didn’t let that stop me from trying.
My card~
I used the Brother Scan & Cut to cut the outer image of a Prima Doll Stamp out of several coordinating Glitz patterned papers.
I then hand cut various parts of the doll and used pop dots to lift them up.
A close-up~
While it’s not perfect I think it’s a good start.
For a fabulous, detailed tutorial that shows you the proper way to do this technique and other lifting ideas check out Colleen’s blog.
I used~
Glitz Love You Madly Paper, American Crafts Ribbon, Prima Mixed Media Stamp, Heidi Swapp Stamps and EK Layered Heart Punch
Sara, this is beautiful! I am so glad you tried the challenge out!
I love this card! I’m not much of a colorer either, but I can’t cheat with a Scan n’ Cut! Great job on your resourcefulness!! lol
This was a tough challenge & you did a fantastic job with your card!
