You know all the many, many wonderful characters that Dr. Seuss created?
There are so many!! I bet you could name at least ten right off the top of your head.
But, my littlest simply wanted to be Two Green Fish for Dress Like A Dr. Seuss Character Day at Nursery School. Sigh.
There was no persuading her to be Cindy Lou, Thing One or Thing Two or even one of the dogs from Go Dog Go.
Her mind was made up.
So, what’s a mom to do?
Make her her very own One Fish, Two Fish t-shirt~
I imported a Dr. Seuss graphic into my Silhouette software, did a simple trace and offset and then printed on Avery Light Fabric Transfer paper.
I cut the image out using the normal Silhouette cardstock cutting settings .
A quick use of the iron and my fish were set.
With a little begging and pleading I was allowed to add an additional fish to the back.
So, I quickly repeated my steps to get this guy added before she changed her mind.
One thing to keep in mind is that your image will be opposite of how you print it, so if you have letters or numbers remember to flip them before printing.
With her One Fish, Two Fish t-shirt, her hair in two braids and her galoshes on off she went to enjoy Dress Like A Dr. Seuss Character Day.
And I do believe she did.
I used~

How adorable is this? Your little one looks smashing in her Dr. Seuss Fish shirt!
This is really cute! Ummm, but isn’t the story, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish??? 🙂 No matter, I’m guessing it went over pretty well at school, even if they are green! lol
Yes! But, our copy has the Two Fish colored green. 😉
Believe me I tried to do Blue and Red Fish to no avail.
Pig tails and green fish it just doesn’t get any better than this You did a great job on the shirt
and both the fish on it and the cutie wearing it look very satisfied. 🙂
Love how the shirt turned out!
