What Does The Fox Say?

Yes, I have jumped on the bandwagon.

How could I not after seeing the adorable fox graphics over at Lettering Delights?

The only problem is I get so confused when I go to order.

Do I want the graphics or the cut files or both?

I’ve purchased several of their collections, but I’ve yet to use them.

So, it was Jin over at Under A Cherry Tree to my rescue.

Seriously, if you need help check out her blog.

It is fantastic!!

I followed her step by step tutorials which I’ve listed below to take my Lettering Delights purchases and actually put them to use.

I started by figuring out how to print them and then use my Silhouette to cut the outer edge.

It worked! Yippee!

So, I tempted fate and tried again.

Once I had my images printed and cut I decided to make a card for the Big Kids.

My card~

I thought the colors from DCWV Sweet Tangerine Stack matched perfectly with my fox and I added a bit of sparkle with the glitter paper.

A close up~

I used pop dots to lift the top portion of my fox off the card base and sprinkled a few enamel dots for a bit more color and dimension.

I will be away this weekend, so I plan to leave this out on the counter for Ashlyn and Holden to find when they get home from school.

I have a feeling they’ll love it.

Especially since Hartly breaks into song and dance each time she sees it.

He he he.

I used~

Sweet Tangerine
DCWV Sweet Tangerine Stack, The Basics Stack and The Glitter Basics Stack
White Cardstock, My Mind’s Eye Enamel Dots, American Crafts Twine
Lettering Delights What Does The Fox Say? SVG Files
