Be very afraid, because they’re coming.
And they want CANDY!
I love this printed paper with the little trick or treaters found in DCWV’s The Spooky Time Stack.
It’s just too cute.
My layout~
I didn’t want to cover up too much of the design, so I kept my layout rather simple.
In my search to find matching bats I came across a moon that had similar lines to the sketched tree.
It would be perfect.
However, I didn’t own it. Don’t you hate that?
So, I had to buy it. Don’t you love that?
The moon~
I cut it twice out of coordinating paper, inked it to give it a sketched look and used pop dots to adhere it.
A close up~
I think it compliments the print and my photo nicely.
And I know I love that.
Since the Cricut Circle Canadian Girls have adopted me, I get to issue a Challenge for the Cricut Circle Canadian Swarm.
My Challenge: Use It is to break that brand, spanking new cartridge out of its plastic and use it.
Just like I did.
Well I downloaded it, but that’s the same. Right?
And I know you’re like me and have a cartridge or two or three you just had to have right away lying around still unused.
This challenge is now closed.Want to play along?

Cricut’s October 31 for the Moon cut at 4.4″
Your layout is spooktacular!
What an adorable (scary) layout. The moon works perfectly and I love that you can see the images on the paper. You dressed it up perfectly.
Love the simplicity of this layout Sara. It really draws you in. And I must confess that I pulled Octobert 31st off my shelf last week to make a card for the Halloween challenge and found A REWARDS CERTIFICATE!!! How did I miss that??? LOL
I love how you combined the die cut with the layout paper! They look like they were made for each other (wasn’t that a line in Sleepless in Seattle?). Seriously – lovely, whimsical, charming, and perfect layout! Love the colors, the brads, the title banners – it’s wonderful!
Love your layout and I have entered here and the Cricut forum. I have created luminaries using Pumpkin carvings and the New Merry and Bright,
they are on my blog daizychainstudio.blogspot.ca
Roxana

As I was entering my challenges on my blog, I was shocked to discover that I had used a LOT of new, unopened cartridges for a lot of the challenges; hence, I’ll enter all of them, seeing as you said we could enter multiple times. ๐
The card I entered on the MB was my ladybug card for the Hey Diddle Diddle cart, but I also opened up Kate’s ABC’s and Autumn Celebrations cart for this challenge.
