I decided to join in the Cricut Circle Fall Mini Album Swap and am ever so happy I did.
If you haven’t noticed, I love those girls over there.
My partner made the mistake of telling me she liked anything Maggie Holmes and especially the new Flea Market line, so I took that and ran with it.
While it’s not pumpkins and scarecrows I think the colors and feeling of the album represents Fall.
I started by covering chipboard with paper and of all things canvas from the Studio Calico product bags.
I simply trimmed and doubled it over and adhered with Scor-tape.
It doesn’t have to be pretty since it will be covered with paper.
My finished cover~
A close up~
For the pages I used a mixture of double-sided paper and Simple Stories Page Protectors.
The pages~
As you can see I used lots of Crate Paper including the Maggie Holmes line, Flea Market, Random and Restoration collections.
I added enough embellishments to give the album some character, but still left room for pictures and journaling.
Here’s the album I received from Sherry aka Octoberbeauty~
Isn’t it fabulous?
I love those colors together.
It’s a paper bag album filled with pockets and tags.
And it’s just waiting for me to fill it.
I used~
Crate Paper Maggie Holmes, Flea Market, Random and Restoration Collections
Pink Paislee Hope Chest Journal Cards, Simple Stories Page Protectors
I know I don’t have everything listed that I used.
If you have a question, let me know as I will be happy to answer it.
Beautiful job on your album! The cover of the one Sherry sent you is beautiful as well!
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!!! The mini you made is FANTABULOUS…Seriously!!!
Gorgeous album Sara. I still don’t know how you find the time to do all the amazing projects that you do. I love it.
