A Little Jane Austen~

“It isn’t what we say or think that defines us, but what we do.”

Jane Austen ~Sense & Sensibility

I think that’s the perfect sentiment to send to the man who baptized me, married me, prayed over my twins every week for three months while they were in the hospital after their birth and then baptized them as well as teens.

He’s just always been there.

And that has meant the world to me and my family.

My card~

As well as being a sappy I miss you and why did you have to retire card, it’s also my Cricut Circle Canadian Swarm Challenge #1: Find Your Inspiration.

I love this card found here.

And I mean love, love, love it, so I used it as the inspiration for my card.

A close up~

I used a sheet from DCWV’s The Corrugate Neutral Stack in between papers from The Pumpkin Patch Stack.

I love the contrast between the structured corrugate paper and the soft delicate patterns of the other prints.

On my tag I added some Tim Holtz stamping and pearls as well.

Like my inspiration piece I cut a portion of my tag out, but I chose to cut out my sentiment to draw attention to it.

Even if you’re not a Circle Member I hope you’ll find something to inspire you and get busy creating.

I used~

Pumpkin Patch Neurtal Corr Foiled Elegance

DCWV The Pumpkin Patch Stack, The Corrugate Neurtal Stack and The Foiled Elegance Stack
DCWV Gems, Papertrey Ink Twine, Tim Holtz Charms, Tim Holtz Nature’s Elements Stamps and Papertrey Ink Simply Jane Stamps
Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Two for the tag cut at 5.5″ high
