It’s the start of a new month which means it’s time for the DCWV Stack-a-Holic Challenge. Yippee!!
Here’s the layout Erin has chosen for us this month~
You can tell how much I love it, since I actually stayed fairly close to the sketch.
My layout~
This past Monday Hartly’s Nursery School went on a field trip to Carter Mountain Orchard to pick apples.
Let me tell you there’s nothing like picking apples with 13 three and four year olds. Oh my!
But, we had the best time.
A close up~
I did add an extra picture, but I had to include the fabulous view we had on the mountain top.
Did you notice how her field trip shirt and apple colors match perfectly with the colors in the Sweet Tangerine Stack? He he.
And believe it or not I even made a card!
Here’s the Card Color Challenge~
My card~
I love the phrases on the journal cards found in The Modern Meadow Stack and it just so happens that one of the coordinating patterns has orange, brown and purple in it.
So, I simply added a bit of green twine and my card was done.
Quick and easy.
I hope you’ll grab one of your favorite stacks and join in this month.

There are prizes to be won!

DCWV The Modern Meadow Stack
American Crafts Twine and Studio Calico Wood Veneer
Sweet layout…Sweeter LM!!!
Adorable layout! I really like the card! Did you tie the twine around the whole card to close it or is it wrapped under one of the layers? I’m just now starting to get serious about using twine and ribbon on cards so I’m clueless.
Yes, the twine is tied under the journal card which I adhered with foam tape to give it a bit of lift.
Watch out twine is very addictive!!!!! 😉
Thanks!
