On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!

NSD1 Blog Button

It’s time for a Timed Challenge over at the Cricut Circle Message Board to celebrate NSD!! Woo Hoo!

And just WHO would come up with this CRAZY idea?

Oh yeah, it was ME!

My One Hour Layout~

The second requirement of the challenge is you must use one image from a Cricut Circle Exclusive Cartridge.

I chose Cricut Everyday for my layout of several of us Circle Maniacs out for a shopping spree at many of the local scrapbooking stores in and around Atlanta, GA.

My title~

A close up of those Maniacs~

Those girls can shop!!

One even talked a shopkeeper into reopening for us and believe me we made it worth her while.

I thought I would share with you my work space throughout this process.

The first few calm minutes~

Midway point where mild panic sets in~

Complete and utter chaos at the finish line~

And yes, that is Bullseye shoved into my Cricut Mini and a random shoe tossed about. Good times!

Now that I think about it, this just might have been Sis’s idea that she assigned me.

Hmmm… that tricky girl!

This challenge is taking place on the Circuit Circle Message Board right NOW and runs through 6:15pm, so if you’re a Circle Member and have 60 minutes head there NOW!!

There’s a PRIZE!!

I used~
Studio Calico Daily Grind Add On Kit Contents: Basic Grey Knee Highs Four Square paper, Amy Tangerine Yes, Please Productive paper, Studio Calico Stamp, Amy Tangerine Wish Thickers
Kraft paper, AT Date Stamp, MME Washi and My Girl Enamel Dots, American Crafts Twine, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher
Cricut Everyday for the On the Go title cut at 5″ and the bugs at 3″

  1. Ummmm…that Cuttlebug character seems to be makin’ fun of the way we were walkin’ by the time that shopping day was over : P !! Great layout & it was a great idea for a challenge too (even if Mean Ole’ Sis did trick you into it!); I gave up the challenge when I realized I’d spent 30 minutes picking out a design that I thought I could make a usable project with! Oh well, I’m known for my superior shopping skills…not for my scrappin’ skills!!

  2. OK- you can take a cricut cut (of a cricut) and make it look trendy. How do you do that? This is awesome! Love the photo (Barbara must have taken it because I know if there was shopping, she was there!) Love the way you did the title! Great page!!! I am so sorry I had to miss this challenge! Your desk pictures keep me from feeling like I need to clean mine. I love your creativity and now that I know that a crazy desk is OK, I feel better! The shoe cracked me up– and that you pointed it out!!!
