Welcome to the DCWV/Tombow Spring Fling Blog hop.
This week, DCWV and Tombow have teamed up to spread a little bit of spring fever.
Both design teams are excited to show you just what we have done with the My Sunshine and Chickadee stacks from DCWV, and some amazing adhesive products from Tombow.
If you have come here from Debbie’s blog then you’re on track!
I love the bright, happy colors and patterns found in the DCWV My Sunshine Stack.
Making a Spring inspired layout with a stack with the word sunshine in it was definitely not a problem.
This was my first time working with Tombow adhesives, so I wanted to create a layout with lots of opportunities to use the various adhesives.
The first thing that came to mind was to create a banner layout that would allow multiple dimension.
Plus, I could use those adorable clothes pins.
My layout~
I used a Fiskars Pennant and Scallop Circle punch to create my banner shapes out of the various patterned papers.
I added some of the printed word and decorative tags from the stack as well.
To give added dimension to both I used the Tombow Clear Power Tabs to adhere the pennants, but I left the protective covering on the bottom portion to allow the pieces to lift off the page.
Tombow Clear Power Tabs~
Can I just say how excited I am that the tabs are clear?!
I used the Stamp Runner to adhere my scallops over the twine.
It was super easy to do.
The Stamp Runner not only has a roller like most ATGs, but it also has a stamp feature to simply stamp the adhesive in the exact spot you want it. Love it!
I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to adhere the clothespine at the my title; however, all of the others are cliped to the twine.
I just hope my Pink ATG doesn’t find out that I now have a crush on all of these Tombow adhesives.
And while looking at my layout Hartly has decided that this year she wants to be the Easter Bunny.
Not sure how we’ll talk her out of that.
I wonder if Grandma can make a toddler size costume.
Be sure to visit all the projects featured this week and leave a comment for your chance to win!
We will be giving away both the My Sunshine and Chickadee stacks to 2 lucky readers, and one amazing package of Tombow Adhesive including NEW Stamp Runner Permanent Adhesive, NEW Stamp Runner, Dot Pattern Adhesive, MONO Multi Liquid Glue, NEW Power Tabs and MONO Glue Stick, 0.77 oz to one other lucky reader!
