Two weekends ago my cousin, Jayne, and I were super excited for the Scrapdoodles Weekend Scrapbooking Retreat.
For us it meant an entire weekend of scrapbooking and a class with none other than Teresa Collins. Love her!
For her sons it meant a trip to the nearby Bass Pro Shop with their dad.
And this trip was especially exciting for her son, Reid, since it meant birthday shopping.
It seems he has a new favorite TV show that even inspired his shopping outfit of all camo.
Even down to the boots.
Let me just say he was a sight to see. What a cutie!
His birthday party is this weekend, and I wanted to get him something I know he’ll love.
So, I got him that certain TV show on DVD.
Which then inspired my card and gift bag.
My gift bag and card~
I used two 12×12 sheets of matching cardstock from DCWV’s My Sunshine Stack to make my gift bag that perfectly holds my DVD sets.
I can’t even begin to tell how excited I am about making my own gift bags.
Thank you Sandie and Nadia for the instructions!!
A side view~
My card attached to the bag is from the Cricut Campin’ Critters cartridge.
If you can correctly guess what TV show my Birthday phrase is inspired by and which also happens to be Reid’s new favorite TV show I will enter your name in a drawing for a prize pack!!
A bonus entry if you know WHO says this phrase.
Want to know what you’re playing for? (Sorry, that’s my inner Jeff Probst!)
A DCWV Collage Art Stack, The Juniper Berry Stack and a Fiskars Cloud Punch
Guesses will be accepted through March 17th. (This contest is now closed and a winner announced.)
Good luck!

Campin’ Critters for the Duck cut at 4″
Duck Dynasty and the guy who says it is Phil Roberston (I think that is his last name). This turned out super duper adorable! Love the colors!
What a cute bag! Good luck everyone! I’m clueless maybe it’s because we don’t have cable.
Super cute. I love Campin’ Critters. Sandie showed us how to make the bag in Las Vegas and I promptly forgot. I remember it was really cute and I really wanted to make one when I got home, but didn’t know how. I should have taken notes.
Wow! Yes, Duck Dynasty and it is Phil Robertson. Your bag and card are precious!
Love your bag. I’m guessing the show is Duck Dynasty. (I love that show by the way) Love when Phil Robertson says Happy Happy Happy!
the show Duck Dynasty and Phil Robertson is happy I have only watched a few times though my husband watches.
The “happy Happy Happy” phrase is from Duck Dynasty & is said by Phil Robertson himself. He is such a neat ole guy! He sure started a great empire for his family, didn’t he?
Thanks for the fun…
It’s not at all yuppy – and it is totally Duck Dynasty (and so very clever) – and happy happy happy like Phil Robertson would say. I’m gone.
I think Duck Dynasty but don’t the know the person who says it!
Great card Sara, he is so going to love it. I think the TV show is Duck Dynasty.

I’ve always thought that some of the images on this cartridge would be great with the DD theme…. LOVE IT!!!!
Love it all. I don’t watch the show but I love how your gift bag/card turned out.
Definitely Duck Dynasty! I love making gift bags too and yours is fabulous!
Well, it must be Duck Dynasty! That bag is perfect, he’s going to love it!
Like your card. I just finished watching the show and it’s Duck Dynasty. I recently became hooked on the show. My favorite is uncle Si. The person that says “happy, happy, happy” is Phil Robertson.
The show is Duck Dynasty and the guy that says the phrases is Phil Robertson. 🙂
Great bag! Really liking the duck. The show is Duck Dynasty.
Sara, that bag is too cute! Is the show Duck Dynasty? I actually saw a few minutes of it one night and it was very entertaining. LOL!
Love the bag Sara it’s perfect for the Duck Dynasty DVD I’m sure it’s going to make one little boy Happy, Happy, Happy as Phil Robertson would say!
