It’s March which means a whole lot of birthday cake in our family full of March babies. Yippee!!
But, it also means it’s time for DCWV’s Stack-a-holic Sketch Challenge. Yay!
Erin has once again picked two fabulous sketches to work with.
I guess I should start with the fact that I worked on this while at a retreat this weekend where I took all of my Disney stash to work on a long over due Disney album.
So, keep in mind that I had Mickey Mouse and all things Disney surrounding me.
As I flipped through the My Sunshine Stack I was drawn to the red polka dot and bright yellow papers.
Both screamed Minnie and Mickey Mouse to me.
My layout~
The sketch has two pictures which was a perfect way to show just how excited Hartly was to finally meet Mickey Mouse.
That is until she got face to face with him.
Then she had other places to be. This child!
Anyway, I hope you will join in the Stack-a-holic Sketch Challenge this month.
I used~
DCWV My Sunshine Stack
American Crafts Ribbon, October Afternoon Black & Cream Sticky Keys, Studio Calico Wood Veneer Shapes, Teresa Collins He Said, She Said Stamps, Kraft Paper, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, EK Success Mickey Punches
They’re so much smaller on the TV screen & then they see them in person & they’re HUGE!!! It’s so funny…& so typical! Great layout!!
The imagination is ALWAYS better than the reality MOM! You should know that! 😉 Great layout!
Childhood is a wonderful thing! It reminds me of when children stand in line to see Santa, but when it’s their turn half of them are already somewhere else. Love the placement of all the Mickey Mouse punches.
