Why I Create~

More and more I’m finding my scrapbook albums spread out across the floor of my study and sometimes even the entrance way.

While I would prefer someone waiting on me or anyone else capable of gently turning pages to look through them, it reminds me of WHY I spend my time scrapbooking.

For all of us to enjoy them.

And this picture of Hartly doing just that fills me with happiness, love and pride.

When I opened the new DCWV Baby Girl Stack filled with bright pinks and wonderful patterns I instantly thought of this picture.

Not to mention that I wanted to use all of the papers from the stack.

My layout~

Why-i-create

I decided to follow this sketch five from Shimelle’s blog, pretty paper. true stores. {and cupcakes.}

I have been enjoying her blog lately and hope to use more of her sketches as they make putting a layout together quick and easy.

Now if keeping Hartly from standing on my albums was that quick and easy all would be perfect.

I used~
DCWV The Baby Girl Stack from Michaels
Amy Tangerine Elements Fabric Brads, Kaiercraft Crimson Sparklets, American Crafts Ribbon, AC Heart Date Stamp, Thickers Eclair, Hero Arts Stone Wash Ink, American Crafts Precision Pen

  1. This was another one of those LM pics that I HAD to share with DH!!!!! Since I apparently missed my chance at being able to make MY Baby stay that size…I sure wish there was a way we could do it for the LM…I don’t want her to grow up…I don’t want her to be FOUR ; ) !! I absolutely ADORE this pic of her! You did a great job of focusing on the pic AND the layout makes us understand why you create…Great job!
