And I’m loving this BasicGrey Hopscotch line that Crystal from ScrapBuck.com sent me.
The colors and patterns are just so bright and fun.
They are perfect for the picture of the kids and their cousins taken this past summer.
Can I tell you how hard it was to get all five to sit still and look at the camera at the same time?
My layout~
Well, I guess you can see it was nearly impossible as a certain someone is NOT looking. Sigh!
I wanted to play off the hopscotch idea, so I stamped my phrase multiple times using the heart as a marker like you’d see in a game of hopscotch.
My title is a Studio Calico Front Row Love Phrase cut using the Select Cardstock and my Silhouette.
The cardstock cut smoothly and cleanly for such an intricate image.
I added a bit of brown inking to resemble the inking in the BasicGrey paper.
Make sure you check out ScrapBuck’s blog for more inspiration and ideas.
I used~
BasicGrey Hopscotch Potsy and Skip to My Lou Paper, Fancy Pants Woven Ribbon, Select Cardstock Pastel, Fancy Pants Fancy Botanical Title & Tags
Studio Calico Front Row Love Phrases Cut, Let Your Heart Be Light Stamp, MME Lost & Found 3 Decorative Buttons, American Crafts With Love Buttons, Twine and Date Stamp from Target
Priceless! At least no one is giving you bug eyes like my boy child has been doing alot of lately!
Awesome layout!! You’d think with all the pictures that a “certain someone” has had taken of her at this point in her life, she’d be posin’ for the camera like a pro by now : ) !! And that’s probably the point…she IS a pro & she’ll pose for the camera when she wants to! Still, we all know that that child CANNOT take a bad picture, so it’s all good!!
Great picture!
It’s all terrific! Love the photo and all of the layout elements you added!!!
