Crystal from http://www.ScrapBuck.com has asked me to design several projects for their blog.
And of course, I said yes!
She sent me a box full of goodies, and I have to tell you I fell absolutely in love with the BasicGrey Hopscotch line I found inside.
The moment I saw the pattern paper with numbers and arrows I knew I had to use it first.
We’ve been working with Hartly on the fact that she’s two years old, but when her birthday comes in April she will be three.
However, she has decided that she is now two and will in fact be turning four.
It is not a matter of her not knowing how to count, since she can not only count to 10 in English but also in Spanish.
She’s just decided that she’s going to be four and that’s that. Sigh!
My layout~
Wanting to highlight the numbers 3 and 4 I used several circles cuts and fun glitter shapes.
I tucked my journaling on a tag placed under the picture.
So even if she’s skipping being three this year, she will still be my cutiepatootie.
And I guess I should be happy she’s not claiming to be thirteen and wanting an iPhone like her brother and sister.
I used~
BacisGrey Hopscotch Passing Notes, Sidewalk Chalk and Kick The Can Paper, Mini Mono Stickers
Forever In Time Floral Embellishments, We R Memory Keepers Good Day Sunshine Layered Chipboard, Fancy Pants Fancy Botanical Title and Tages
CM Circle Cutting System, DCWV White Cardstock
Congrats, Sara!
I love this sweet LO! Adorable photo!
Oh my goodness she is a CutiePatootie! Love the stories you share with us. She is just too much sweetness.
The layout is gorgeous too and congrats on designing.
Super cute! She is so pretty! Great LO.
Such a sweet layout!
Well, I guess if Lil’ Miss Hartly says she’s gonna be cuatro…then cuatro she’s gonna BE!! Oh Dear! Another great layout & CONGRATS on your additional design work!
This is so darling.

Absolutely wonderful layout and photo! You have captured it wonderfully and I love your clever use of the paper to tell the story!
