I love hearing this from Hartly when I walk in the door from work in the afternoons.
That and the great big hug I get.
You know what else I love?
The sketch Erin picked out for February’s Stack-a-holic Challenge.
Hexagons! Need I say more?
My layout~
For whatever reason the postcard paper and bright colors found in The Mod-Retro Stack spoke to me.
I guess being away from her and our little exchange reminds me of the sentiments found on postcards.
Sort of a wish you we’re here type thing.
Anyway, I love these colors paired with the black and white photo.
I added some Amy Tangerine Hey There Stamps stamped in a Stone Wash color to complete my layout.
Remember you have all month to grab your favorite DCWV stack and play along with the layout, card or both sketches, so head on over to the DCWV blog and get busy.
I used~
DCWV The Mod-Retro Stack
American Crafts Twine, Amy Tangerine Hey There Stamps, Daily Thickers, Hero Arts Stone Wash Shadow Ink, Dear Lizzy Date Stamp, Heart Trinket
Accent Essentials for the hexagons cut at 1.25″
