We are featuring teddy bears created from the Cricut Lite cartridge Teddy Bear Parade dressed as characters from The Wizard of Oz.
Your journey along the yellow brick road should have brought you here from Deb’s blog, but if it didn’t make sure you check out all of the characters by starting at RockinRenee’s blog.
When Renee suggested a mini blog hop involving the bears from Teddy Bear Parade I jumped at the chance to join in.
I love this cartridge!
And any excuse to use it works for me.
I was tasked with making the Wizard.
My Wizard~
I wanted him to appear a bit older, so I chose a grey smooth cardstock from the DCWV The Silky Smooth Cardstock Stack.
This was my first time using this cardstock and I love how smooth, firm and clean cutting it is.
I also wanted him to be well dressed like he is in the movie, so I made him a pinstriped suit and top hat.
Isn’t he dapper?
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain~
It almost makes you forgive him for his trickery.
And ready to fly Dorothy home~
We all know how that worked for Dorothy.
But, I am sure he is home in Oklahoma safe and sound now just like Dorothy.
Or possibly stuck on a mysterious island if you’re a Lost fan.
Now follow the yellow brick road to Scrapalette’s blog to see more.
And please, watch out for flying monkeys!
I used~
DCWV The Silky Smooth Cardstock Stack for the bear cut at 4″
DCWV The Christmas & Winter Glitter Cardstock Stack and MME Lost & Found Portobello Road 6×6 Pad for his hat and clothes
DCWV The Celebration Stack for the balloon cut at 8.458″
DCWV The Playtime Stack for the backgrounds
