I decided to do some organizing the other day and came across some paper that I had set aside.
Okay, I’ll be totally honest.
I ran out of photo paper and in my desperate search I found several stacks of paper and a few scrapbooking kits I had forgotten all about.
As I flipped through the paper in DCWV The Timeless Type Stack I knew it was time to use it.
I was drawn to the post card paper and knew I wanted to use it as a base for a mini album.
My next thought was of the photos in my Grandparent’s album that my cousin had scanned for each of us grandchildren.
However, this is what it looked like.
With a little patience and help from Photoshop I was able to come up with this~
I’ve left room for my Dad to help with the journaling, but for now I’ve created a mini album full of pictures of him, my uncle and grandparents.
I love the feel of this album.
I think the papers from this stack match the mood and tone of my pictures.
And I love, love, love seeing pictures of my Dad as a boy and a peek at his and my grandparents’ early life.
That’s my Mema on a motorcyle!
And my Dad dressed up like a cowboy.
To me that is truly a treasure and something to enjoy.
