A way to display the cards you sent me!
All of the designers for DCWV are celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas with DCWV, so make sure you check out their projects here.
I was given the Third Day, so I decided to incorporate the number three several ways.
Of course the first is my title, HO3.
How cute it that saying? You can find it in the Heirloom Christmas Stack.
The second being the Three R’s of Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse.
My album is made not only from the many wonderful DCWV Christmas stacks, but it’s also made from the Christmas cards we received last year from friends and family.
I love this idea!
Because I save everything. And I mean everything!
I have boxes and bags and tubs of cards.
So, my project inspired by this SimpleMom post is perfect for giving new life to the many treasured cards we receive.
To make my album I simply matted the cards onto various papers and embellished.
I love that I had additional surfaces to add pictures and that I was able to see the handwritten notes to each of us.
Isn’t this a much better way to save all those cards than in a box stored on a shelf somewhere?
And by the way did anyone spot my Three French Hens?
