Snap Happy!~

That is exactly what my daughter becomes if you happen to leave your camera lying around.

I can’t tell you the number of pictures of her in various poses from this one afternoon.

Silly girl! And thank goodness for digital pictures.

But, I thought these pictures would be perfect for DCWV’s August Stack-a-holic Sketch Challenge.

The sketch is fabulous with it’s use of multiple pictures or in my case embellishments.

My layout~

I love camera images and especially the polaroid frames that are SO popular these days.

And the Snapshot stack is full of them. Love it!

I even used some of my new Studio Calico stamps featuring picture taking phrases.

A close up~

I wanted to play off the Clicks in the paper, so I used my Silhouette and a simple font to make a click border.

I believe it’s Chunk Five, but I’m not 100% on that.

One day I will tell you what’s it like in my house if I try to scrapbook with the family around.

This story is long and even involves some late night wildlife . Sigh!

Now I just need to figure out what to do with the other hundred pictures she took.

Join in the DCWV Challenge if you’d like, it runs through the end of the month.

I used~
DCWV the Snapshot stack
AC Sprinkes Thickers in Black and White
Studio Calico stamps including Heyday Thoughts, Summer School Class
Basic Gray Guest Check stamps, Dear Lizzy Date Stamp
Silhouette

  1. I hope you scrap some more of her photos! This a cute layout! It is terrible though that I didn’t know there was a DCWV Snapshot stack that I could have used multiple times by now so thanks for the enabling!

  2. This was NOT the Snap Happy face I expected to see on this layout…I had no idea that Ashlyn was a “camera ham” too!!!! Love the layout & the products you used (I love camera images, etc too!)

  3. Amazing – great details and wonderful interpretation of the sketch. Your Ashlyn is such a clever young woman – and she takes great photos. Love the sunglasses! And of course, the polaroids!
