I finally got around to watching the Glitter Girl’s Scenic Solutions video.
My silly computer at work doesn’t have speakers.
My boss must know me too well.
So, I had to wait until I was at home without teenagers battling for the use of our Wifi service.
Not only were Shimelle’s layouts fantastic, but I also learned how to use my Tim Holtz’s Tiny Attacher in the middle of page. She’s a genius!
Anyway, I was inspired to dig through my October Afternoon bin and use the adorable, but somewhat puzzling on how to use house paper.
My layout~
I used the space behind my house to tuck a journaling card and additional photos.
A closeup~
So today I used a paper I loved, and I dug out and used pictures from 2005!! Woo Hoo!
I call that a good day.
I used~
October Afternoon’s Modern Homemaker It’s Suppertime- C’mon in!, Needle & Thread papers, Modern Homemaker 8×8 paper pad, Rub ons, Buttons, Farmhouse Flower Sack, Teal & Creme Sticky Keys, AC Merry Thickers, Twine, TH Tiny Attacher
Studio Calico Heydey Sentiments and Airmail stamps
George for circle cut
Glad you finally found the perfect use for the paper! The pictures and the paper really blend well together!
Love it!!!
I’d call it a great day! Wonderful layout and thanks for the insights on the Glitter Girl video. I learned a ton – did I tell you I am not a scapbooker? However, I have some scenic October Afternoon paper and it could be the basis of a wonderful card! Thanks, Sara.
Great use of that house paper……fun, fun, fun!
