Studio Calico is celebrating their 5th Birthday! Happy, happy Birthday!
As a way to celebrate and get us using our supplies, they are having 5 Challenges this week inspired by 5 long time members.
The first challenge is to take a layout from 5 years ago and use it as inspiration for a new layout.
Are you seeing a trend?
Guess who did very little scrapbooking 5 years ago? But, I did work on our Disney trip from that year.
I know it’s simple, but it also represents my first attempts to use my Cricut!
What I liked most about this layout is the banner and embellishments on the side, so I used that as my starting point for my current layout.
Of course, I had to dig out the current Disney pictures waiting to be used!
I love these pictures and especially what they represent.
My son and I are constantly at odds about his hair. He likes it a bit longer than I do. Some might even say to his dismay that he resembles a certain pop star with it longer. And he would strongly disagree.
So when Goofy went to great lengths to communicate to us that he thought he was Justin Bieber and made him do a Pop Star Pose with him, it made my day. Holden, not so much!
A close up of my journal card and embellishments~
I just love those Prima Wood Buttons! Aren’t they cute?
Almost as cute as my two doing the Pop Star Pose!
I used~
