A Circle member had a little accident and is now stuck upstairs away from her beloved crafting room. Shudder!
I decided to make her not just ONE card, but several that she could use to write letters to mail to her friends. I got the idea from the Cricut Circle Blog where Cindy Royal made a card making kit for her grandchild. She put all types of card making items in her box including left over cuts. Isn’t that a wonderful idea?
I must admit that the final product is NOT perfect, but I think she will appreciate it anyway. It’s the thought that counts right?
Here is most likely my first problem~
I didn’t use my Gypsy!! Crazy, right?
I used Sweet Tooth Boxes to cut the house found on page 7 at 10″ for all layers.
I used Kraft paper, DCWV’s Black Currant stack and the Brights Textured Cardstock stack.
I had some non-sticky mat issues that were challenging to say the least. I think when cutting the DCWV textured cardstock you need to plan to multi-cut it. If not you end up with little pieces like you’ll find on this project. So, don’t look too closely!
One area where I did not have sticky problems is my actual box. I used Tacky Tape to assemble the box and it worked perfectly.
I used DCWV La Creme cards to fill the house.
My hope is this will give her a little something to do while she’s stuck in the house. And that she’ll have a speedy recovery.
You’re such a Sweetheart!! Cute project…yet another cart that I haven’t actually used yet : O
