Call Me Anytime~

Once again the fabulous ladies over on the Cricut Circle Message Board have inspired and challenged me.

This time with a Book Box and Stick Pin swap.

The idea was to decorate a small book box from Hobby Lobby for your partner and create 10 stick pins as well.

My partner, the wonderful Jenny Dennis, gave me free rein in the theme of her box. Oh boy!

After finding the most adorable Bead Landing telephone pendant my theme was set…Call Me Anytime.

I used Teresa Collins’ Summer Stories collection which just so happened to feature telephones as well.

But, my absolute favorite piece of the collection was the Make Every Day The Best Day journal card.

It pretty much reminds me of Jenny and her happy, positive energy.

She’s just that kind of girl!

I wanted to keep my pins safe in the box during travel, so I made envelopes~

Just when I thought I was done, I decided I needed a card to complete my project.

The image of the lady holding the phone from the Cricut Suburbia cartridge was simply perfect.

In case, you were wondering her name is Judy although I think Ethel would suit her better. He he.

  1. You two ladies were a perfect match….and, yes, it was random. I could barely believe it when I pulled the fabulous Lucy and Ethel as a team myself, but it happened just like I’m telling….so help me little Porky Pig….it was a match made in vintage heaven no doubt. You both absolutely excelled in your projects. Your telephone charm is so cute…..and I love the whole 867-5309 angle. That Jenny is a hoot! You are right, she sparkles on a daily basis, which I believe is something you two have in common. Beautiful work, Sara and Jenny:D! You really set the bar high.

  2. And Jenny,Judith and Ethel are very honored to have received it :) I have my little BEAUTY sitting
on my shelf right in front of my desk so I can see it all the time :) And it is even prettier in person and the pins are stunning,Sara certainly has my number ;) Thank you so much!
